1. About InstaKids

InstaKids is a short video viewing app designed for a general audience, including children, teenagers, and adults. All content is curated and reviewed to be family-friendly. The app does not allow users to upload, comment, or communicate in any way. Users can only view short videos (reels) and express their preferences by liking or disliking content.

2. No Account or Personal Information Required

InstaKids does not require login or account creation. We do not collect, store, or share personally identifiable information such as:

• Names, emails, or phone numbers
• Photos, media, or contacts
• Location data
• Account credentials

Anyone can use the app without providing personal details.

3. Advertising & Data Use

InstaKids shows limited, family-safe ads using Google AdMob. These ads follow the Google Play Families Policy and are designed to be appropriate for children. We use:

• Advertising ID (AAID): Used to deliver ads and limit ad frequency.
• Child-Directed Treatment: We set setTagForChildDirectedTreatment(true) and max_ad_content_rating = "G" to ensure child-appropriate ad delivery.
• Non-Personalized Ads: Ads are context-based and not behaviorally targeted to children.

You can opt out of personalized ads via your device’s Google Settings > Ads section.

4. Data Collection & Analytics

We do not collect personally identifiable information. We may record anonymous usage statistics (e.g., likes/dislikes count) to improve app performance and user experience. This data is not linked to individual users.

5. Content Safety

We strive to ensure that all available content is safe and appropriate for children and families:

• All content is manually curated and reviewed.
• No user-generated uploads are allowed.
• No chat, messaging, or commenting features exist.

6. Third-Party Services

7. Data Security

We use strong technical safeguards to ensure that the app runs securely and that all ad and analytics data transmitted complies with Google’s safety and security requirements.

8. COPPA & Families Policy Compliance

InstaKids is developed with children’s online privacy in mind and follows the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Google Play Families Policy. Ads are limited to content rated “G,” and no behavioral tracking is performed on children.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” will reflect the most recent changes. Updates take effect immediately once posted in the app or on this page.
